Ready Set Travel, LLC is an independent seller of cruises for the cruise line and other suppliers. Ready Set Travel, LLC guarantees the cruise price you pay for your cruise will not change after your booking has been confirmed. The exception to this would be government taxes which rarely change once you have already booked. If taxes due change you will be responsible for the increase. We do not control, operate, or assume responsibility for the actions of cruise lines, airlines, railroad companies, ground transporters or tour operators. The information and description given about the travel suppliers are based on inquiries made by Ready Set Travel, LLC and are believed to be accurate, but Ready Set Travel, LLC makes no warranty or representation in respect thereof. We are not responsible for late arrival of your flight, train, cruise, or for any illness, injury, damage, loss of cruise time or any other irregularities resulting there from.
The transportation and services provided by the disclosed principal travel suppliers are offered subject to the terms and conditions contained in the tickets and other documents issued by them. Ready Set Travel, LLC is not liable for the failure, defaults or bankruptcy, negligence or intentional misconduct of any of the travel suppliers providing services on your vacation. We have no special knowledge regarding the suitability for disabled persons of any portion of the cruise. We also have no special knowledge regarding unsafe conditions, health hazards, weather hazards, or climate extremes at locations to which you may travel. Ready Set Travel, LLC may impose a $50.00 per person fee for cancellations or any changes to your reservation. The cruise lines have penalties up to 100% of the cruise amount for cancellations and changes (for the complete cancellation policy of the cruise line, please refer to the terms and conditions for each cruise line on their respective websites). Longer cruises might have higher penalties; shorter cruises might have lower. The cruise line and airline may assess service charges for changes of your reservation. Reservations are subject to the tariff rules of each airline on your itinerary. Refunds require a minimum of 6 to 8 weeks for processing and are subject to the policies of the individual cruise line or travel provider. Those rules may require advance payment and cancellation or change fees, which are in addition to the cancellation fees.
United States and Canadian citizens are required to have proper proof of citizenship. All passengers will REQUIRE A VALID PASSPORT on and after 12/31/2006. A valid passport is the best form of I.D., however, in some instances, a STATE ISSUED birth certificate with the raised seal plus a government issued picture I.D. is sufficient (dependent military ID cards are not acceptable). For overseas cruises a valid passport is always required. Importantly, all guest 16 years of age and older must provide and official photo ID. Guest’s names on travel documents (passport, Alien Resident Card, Birth Certificate) and photo ID must be identical to those on the Cruise and Airline Tickets. In the event of a name change, documentation supporting this change is required – SUCH AS A MARRIAGE LICENSE. Resident Aliens need their Alien Resident card. Aliens need a valid passport and a valid U.S. multiple entry permit visa. Occasionally additional travel documentation may be required to enter certain ports. For example, anyone wishing to stay in Mexico more than 24 hours must have a Mexican Tourist Card prior to departure. A notarized affidavit from an absent parent indicating permission to travel with the accompanying adult is required if disembarking with children in Mexico. It is your responsibility to verify with your local consulates office if you require additional visa’s for the countries you will be visiting during your travels. All passports must be valid for a period of 6 months past the completion date of travel. PASSPORTS – entering Canada and/or British Columbia. Please be advised, you may be denied entry into said country if you have a history of a DUI/DWI, and may require a lengthy waiver process before entry is approved. If you owe back taxes it is possible the Government can deactivate your passport for travel outside of the United States, and you will not know about it until you get to the airport. Be diligent and check your passports and your personal financial responsibility.
While customers are always permitted the option of purchasing and arranging their own transportation, neither Ready Set Travel, LLC or the cruise line can be held liable for any cancellation, trip interruption, difficulties with connecting flights, delays or costs caused by transportation not arranged or purchased through the cruise line. Furthermore, Ready Set Travel, LLC has no control over the air flight schedules, carriers selected, or whether or not your flight will be non-stop. We can try to assist you with deviations from the air/sea package, but we cannot guarantee that the cruise line will honor your request. Some cruise lines will not allow air deviation requests under any circumstances. Cruise only packages do not include ground transfers. Be aware that not all Air Sea packages include transfers. Ready Set Travel, LLC is not liable for additional cost incurred due to extra luggage and excess weight of your luggage. It is your responsibility to check with the airlines as to their baggage allowances and fees.
Ready Set Travel, LLC strongly recommends the purchase of vacation protection insurance before taking a cruise. Ready Set Travel, LLC offers TRAVEL GUARD vacation protection, a package which provides coverage in most cases against losses caused by cancellation or interruption of your trip due to injury, sickness or death involving yourself, a traveling companion or immediate family member. The Travel Guard coverage also guards against damages caused by trip delays, missed travel connections and lost or misrouted baggage. Certain pre-existing conditions may be excluded. The exact coverage is outlined in the Travel Guard brochure. If you choose to decline vacation protection insurance, Ready Set Travel, LLC will be unable to assist you with any refund claims.
Deposit payments must reach our office by the option due date to confirm your reservation, final payments must also be received before the final payment due to avoid cancellation and penalties. It is your responsibility to make sure that payment is received on time to our office for processing. Until payment is confirmed on a reservation, price, cabin, and availability can change at the discretion of the cruise line. For your protection we accept Credit Card Payments Only. It is your responsibility to make sure final payment is received on time to the cruise line. The cruise lines reserve the right to cancel and penalize you if your final payment is late.
